Background
A customer has a server, a Cisco 2960 switch, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), and other equipment mounted in a 2-post rack. The closet datacenter room is small and can barely fit in the 2-post rack with all its equipment.
Challenges
Operating and getting to the server and other equipment has been difficult due to the depth of the UPS and batteries. The customer would like to possibly have it on the ground, but prefers to have it all in a rack as a clean system.
Solution
BHL MiniRaQ(TM) has mounting holes designed specifically for 2-post rack which allowed it to be attached to the customer’s 2-post rack. The MiniRaQ’s design allows the UPS to be vertically mounted which will decrease the overall square footage of the UPS presently set in a horizontal direction.
